Every now and again, we have a vegetarian at our holiday table. There are always plenty of side dishes that will work for them, but I think vegetarians should be able to experience a filling and delicious main course. Just to be clear, non-vegetarians gobble this up, too! Yeah, I went for the Thanksgiving pun…get over it! Continue reading

This was the answer to The Latin Lover’s inquiry, “What are you planning for dinner?” This sort of just popped into my head. It went together quickly and had great flavor.
This is a fun little breakfast or supper dish. I got this from the folks over at
I forget about meatloaf and I don’t know why. We love it. It’s goes together quickly. It practically bakes itself and damn, it’s just so delicious. And best of all, it makes great sandwiches. I’ve already given you
The Goddess does so love creamed spinach…maybe it’s that “Green Goddess” thing. Who knows, but love it, she does (that sounded eerily like Yoda…hmmm). Brown butter is lovely with fish. It’s rich and nutty and just plain wonderful. So this fish encompasses many favorites, it doesn’t take long to prepare and bake, either. And it looks mahhhvelous!
This is a really nice addition to your Sunday brunch or for this season, Thanksgiving day breakfast. We had a slice with some salad for a nice, light supper, and as a side with a bowl of Creamy Mushroom-Pumpkin Soup with Sherry. I think if might be good with gravy, as in biscuits and gravy…just a thought!
I know I’ve said eggs were the perfect food, but burgers are pretty high up on that list, too. And today is National Cheeseburger Day, so here we have the perfect burger with a crispy, lacy “collar” of cheddar. This is a serious burger and with crunch!
It’s moving day! Finally, our things are arriving in Miami, so The Latin Lover will have a real life and wife, soon! The Goddess was bone-tired, dead on her feet, but we wanted to eat in. What’s easier than Stuffed Peppers? This, right here, is why she loves, loves, loves leftovers.
I couldn’t wait to post this. It was too good not to share. You’ve heard The Goddess go on ad nauseam about how she adores, loves, is crazy about, etc. leftovers. It does get a tad stale, doesn’t it? I know I was damned tired of hearing about it. Then, she made this pizza, which uses leftovers she had from the weekend.
