Fattoush-Panzanella SaladPanzanella or Fattoush?  That is the question.  In reality, they are pretty much the same salad…and yet, not.   That makes no sense, does it?  At their roots, they are both bread salads, with good veggies tossed in.  But it is all about the bread or the pita, and with this version, you don’t have to choose between the two…Fattoush-azella! Creamy Horseradish-Mustard SauceI thought I’d posted this already, but I guess I overlooked it…and that’s bad.  Really bad.  Because this is spectacularly good with Corned Beef with Beer Gravy and it’s that time of year.  When The Progeny are around the table, I have to make huge quantities, because it truly is…all…about…this…sauce!  Continue reading →

Three Bean Salad with Potatoes and CornI love Three Bean Salad.  It always seems to be on the summer dinner tables, but it is truly good all year long.  Anyway, I was hungry for it, but I decided to make a slightly different version than the one my mother made, which I have always loved.  I added corn and potatoes.  It works.  It works well.
