This is astoundingly delicious. You can feel your arteries clogging and you don’t care, as you reach for another piece. The Goddess loves German Chocolate Cake, but when she says this, well, let’s just say that she’s moved on to the dark side. Dark chocolate. Yeah. What were you thinking anyway? The Spicy Honey loves Jamaican patties. They’re spicy (like him!) and just a quick, full-flavored bite, that’s perfect for lunch or a snack or dinner or breakfast. In other words, good any time, any place.
Brussels Sprout and Fennel Chowder. Hmmmm. Intriguing, no? There’s cabbage soup, so why not Brussels sprouts, in liquid form. Well, folks, it works and it works well. This soup is vegetarian, even vegan, if you omit the cheese (but why would you?). It’s filling, without being heavy. And most importantly, it just tastes really, really delicious.

I’ve been meaning to make pide (in case you’re wondering, it’s pronounced “PEE-day”) for quite some time. This is street food, at its very best. And this dough? It is positively fabulous and wonderful to work with. I’ve given you a couple of filling options, and then some!
This is a great little salad. It’s pretty, it holds up well and it’s delicious. Mandarins have just come into the market and they are wonderful. I find, you can eat the entire being, peel and all. And they’re gorgeous and just scream autumn.
