This is one of those quick little recipes that packs a wallop of flavor! It’s wonderful in summer, but even in the dead of winter, supermarket zucchini will take you back to the lazy days of summer. Serve it with Greek-Style Roasted Potatoes and a supermarket broasted chicken and you’re all set. Continue reading
I purchased some lacinato kale the other day. I know. I know. I’ve ranted about how tired I am of kale in everything, but chocolate pudding. And I am tired of it, but I’m a puzzle. Okay? I do enjoy sautéed greens every now and then.
This is a wonderfully crispy, nutty crust, juxtaposed against the creaminess of the fish fillet. The flavors play off of each other, bring cohesion to the dish, but still offer up a delightful textural quality. According to The Spicy Honey, it’s a keeper recipe.

Anyway, I was feeling the need for garlic bread. Turns out, adding scapes to regular garlic butter, was a good choice. Great on bread and on a steak…heaven!
Yesterday, we cleaned shrimp. Today, we cook. I’ve been asked by someone near and dear to me to talk about cooking shrimp, so I we’ll do just that. This is for The Eventual Planner, who I believe is primarily interested in how to sauté shrimp.
