‘Tis the time of year for pies and tarts. Autumn…mmmmm! Such good, rich flavors and pears and apples are always a big part of that. Apple pie is a favorite of the men in The Goddess’s life, but she’s sort of partial to a combination of pears and apples. Continue reading

Caramel sauce is spectacularly good. It’s rich. It’s easy. And it’s always good to have some in the fridge, waiting for just the right moment. You know, like when the sun rises in the east. So grab a spoon.
Do you know anyone who doesn’t love egg rolls? If you do, immediately remove those culinary Philistines from your Christmas list. This bowl of goodness may just make a convert out of them. I really think you’re going to love these.
This was fantastic fried chicken. Not only does this taste fantastic, but you can use up leftover pickle juice. Yeah, I know. Coffee is essential to the life-blood of The Goddess. If she doesn’t have a cup in her hand, she’s thinking about getting one. Coffee adds a wonderful richness to foods. And well, it just tastes so damn good.
